Day 7

Day 7: Your Dream Wedding

Well someone...actually many people now, stole my dream wedding. I came up with it way before any of them and somehow they stole it from my mind. Idea thiefs.

Maybe it was like in inception....

Day 6

Day 6 – A photo of an animal you’d love to keep as a pet.

I love bengal tigers...a lot. While I appreciate that BYU has a wild cat as a mascot, I secretly wish I could go to a school that had the bengal tiger instead. They are HUGE and awesome. Of course if I had one as a pet, in a perfect world, it would like me and only attack my enemies....it may also stay a cub forever...I can't decide if I'd like that or not cause the big ones look cool too.

Oh...I was supposed to be realistic? Well then I would like to have this little guy as a pet:

Day 5

Day 5 – A photo of yourself two years ago.

So that's me around two years ago.

Things that are different:
-I no longer have brown hair
-Mary Nelson no longer works at the pool so we don't disguise the baby to throw off the guards anymore...lame.
-I now wear a black shirt to work...

Things that are the same:
-I work at the pool again
-I still own and wear those jeans and that jacket

Yup, that is about it. amen.

Day 4

Day 4- Your favorite photograph of your best friend

I feel like I have a best friend from each different life segment. My friend Katie from when I was little, Rachel Janette and Amanda from high school, Brittany from college, Morgan from Disney, etc. Can I just post lots of pictures?? ok cool. :P

Not as much hair anymore, but that's how I'll always remember Chris. :P

Seducing the corn dog man at Disney. Awe...miss you guys!

Bahahaha!

Laughed so hard making this "Princess Cake" with Brittany!

Sorry Brittany, but I love this picture of you.

Day 3

Day 3- Your idea of the perfect first date:

I've been considering this question for about 30 seconds now and, as usual, am making it way more complicated than it needs to be.

At first I thought skydiving...but that is just something I want to do no matter the occasion. Also...thinking back on some of my first dates...yeah, lets just say no thanks.

Another thing to consider- how long have I known this person? If its a blind date situation I think the perfect date would be one where you and your mystery man sit on opposite sides of a movie theater and see something awesome...like The A Team or Repunzel (check it out! It is awesome!).
On the other hand, if I've known this person for a while, I would probably suggest a movie in the park that we both love and have seen a bunch (Princess Bride or something romantic and adventurous too). That way its all sentimental and awesome, but you've seen it so you can talk and such too.

Lastly, am I excited about going on a date with said person? If not, I'd revert back to the opposite sides of the theater idea. If I was excited that would be different.

Hm hm hm...a cooking class. Yep. I've decided. A cooking class has the best of everything. You're around other people, but can chat if you want to. You'd have something to keep you busy so it would be less likely to get awkward. Teamwork towards a common goal would provide a bonding experience and I think you'd learn a lot about each other. Also, the food portion of the date is taken care of and now more meaningful cause you made it together. And lastly, it would take long enough that it could be the only thing you do on the date. Or, if things go well, you could extend the date to include dessert, a movie, a walk, whatever, etc.

Numbah #2!

This might actually get done in 30 days cause I'm going to be procrastinating like a champ this week and next. Aka...final projects/papers due AND then finals.

Day 2 – A photo of something you ate recently.

I didn't actually take a picture of it at the time, but a little over a week ago I went to Tucanos for a friend's Birthday Lunch and she made us all (except Ashley, who I am shaking my fist at right now) eat one. Yes...they are chicken hearts. They were tiny, yes, but gross cause I knew what it was and kept thinking of a baby chickie with a single little tear rolling down its face. ..like this.

Anyways, I will try almost anything once so I don't regret it...but will never eat one again. Poor chickie. :(

In more tasty news, I have rediscovered my love for Chick-fil-a. Delish. Also, the kids meal comic books are hilarious. So far I've read "Cold Cuts" and "The Grissle Missle". Both winners, if you couldn't tell that from the names already.

Peace out!

Photo of me ^

This month has been...good. Still staying really busy. Lots of school projects due and lots to come here in the next week.
Cleo moved here (yay!) about a week ago now.
Earlier in the month we had my mom's side family reunion. My cousin Cindy planned it and it was pretty spectacular, if I do say so myself. I missed having them in the church gyms. It was fun to be able to play basketball an such.
Throughout the month I've also been planning the Legacy Aquatic Center Holiday Dive-In Movie. EVERYONE COME!

Fer serious guys. It will be so fun.
That is all I really remember except for Thanksgiving, which happened a couple days ago. It was grand. I got really full and failed to make butter.
The end.

What's Going Down?!

Title inspired by my new daily planner. I probably needed one yesterday, considering all the different things going on with school and work and everyday life. I designed it myself on snapfish.com which is an awesome website where you upload photos and can either order cheap prints or design your own fun little projects and gifts like this. If you don't have an account with them yet, let me know and I'll send you a link so you can get 50 4x6 prints for freeee!

Anywho, I posted this link on facebook, but I entered a local photo contest this month and I'd really appreciate it if you would vote for me on this site by commenting:

Insert clever song lyrics here about how I'm back.

Yes, I have returned from California. Yes, I lived in CA for almost 8 months. No, don't feel bad if you didn't know. According to the activity levels on this blog I could have been dead. Anywho, I am very much still living and decided to bring this thing back to life after reading my old pal Janette's cute little couple blog. This endevor may be slightly disappointing seeing as I am not a cute little couple and don't know what in the world I'll end up posting about.

To start off I think I will just post pictures of friends which amuse me and tell a little memory gem about them.

Mandi "From Sandy" West

West side walk it out!
Mandi was my room-roomate in CA. We had some good times. We arranged to room together before arriving to the Disney College Program through a facebook group. I knew we'd get along just dandily when I saw this picture:

Yep, my friends. She is on the far right. Presh in't she? One of my particular favorite past times with Mandi was sitting across the room from each other in our apt on facebook chatting and laughing. Also, taking videos of her when she did not want to be filmed....which was pretty much always.

My favorite story with Mandi was when we were all busily preparing for Christmas in July. AKA, I was creating a facebook event at 1am. I needed to find a really dynomite event photo to represent just how epic this Christmas celebreation spectacular would be. The pressure was on. Now some may say the timing of this story (1am+) may have played a role in how humorus we both found this ordeal to be, but I assure you good reader .....(dramatic pause)...it did not. Google searching like a mad christmas elf, I found this:
Funny/random enough right? Wrong. I had a brilliant inspired artistic moment and told Mandi I would improve the photo to awesome proportions. She was impatient of course, but I prevailed and in a couple minutes saw my masterpiece come alive. Check this suckah out foo:

Yes dear readers, a true Christmas Miracle of hilarity. We laughed sooooo hard. I still can't look at it without busting up. She then proceeded to write a blog post about it entitled "Meowy Christmas" (found here: http://westsides-story.blogspot.com/2010/07/merry-christmas.html ) which then sent me into another fit of lawling.

Cheers to Mandi for making my Disney experience magical and hilarious at the same time. I'd cry if you'd have stayed in CA and left me to go back to Utah all by my lonesome. Can't wait for the She and Him concert yo!
